Skip Catalog Update for Item

This chapter describes how you can set a specific item so that it is not affected by changes from a catalog update. By excluding an item from a catalog update, the item prices and information are retained and are not updated.

Beyond CatalogV2 adds several settings to the item card for behavior during catalog updates. This chapter describes how to exclude the item from all changes from catalog updates. If you want to update the descriptions and other information from a catalog for the selected item, but want to keep your company-specific prices for this item, proceed as described in the chapter Skip Price Update.

To prevent prices and information on the item from being changed by a catalog updates, proceed as follows:

1. Open the search function from the role center (ALT+Q).
2. Search for Items and click on the corresponding search result.
3. The Items list is displayed.
4. Select the item for which you want to make the setting from the list and open the item card.
5. Under the Articles tab in the Beyond Catalog section, activate the Skip Catalog Update slider.
   

You have excluded the item from all future catalog updates. The item information and item prices will not be changed by catalog updates.
