Capture Signature For Posted Return Shipment

This chapter describes how you can capture a signature for a posted return shipment.

Print signature area in Reports
Our report design app (Beyond Document Designer) allows you to print digitally captured signatures in reports. The corresponding setting can be found in the chapter Beyond Document Designer: Define Print Settings under Signature Area. This option must be activated if the captured signatures are to be printed in the report. To capture a signature for a posted return shipment, proceed as follows:

1. Open the search function from the role center (ALT+Q).
2. Search for Posted Purchase Return Shipments and click on the corresponding search result.
3. The Posted Purchase Return Shipments list is displayed.
4. Select the posted return shipment from the list for which you would like to capture a signature.
5. The card of the posted return shipment is displayed.
6. From the main menu, select the option Home > Signature.
   
7. The Signature Pad window is displayed.
   
8. If required, you can edit the field values in the Name and City fields. By default, these are filled with information from the document card.
9. Have the business partner sign it.
   
10. After entering the signature, you can save it by clicking the Save button.
11. Close the Signature Pad window.

You have captured a signature.
