Beyond Dimensions is an extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Beyond Dimensions allows you to maintain field values from tables as dimensions by default. After setting up Beyond Dimensions, the defined dimensions are automatically inserted by the system, ensuring that you can perform a more in-depth analysis of your data. In this documentation you will find some examples of how to set up field values as dimensions.

Beyond Dimensions extends the following master data pages with the shortcut dimensions 1-8 from the General Ledger Setup page. In the list view, the corresponding shortcut dimensions are displayed dynamically, i.e. a column with a shortcut dimension is only displayed if a value for the shortcut dimension has been specified on the General Ledger Setup page. A new tab for shortcut dimensions is added in the card view, where the corresponding values for the shortcut dimensions can be maintained. After installing Beyond Dimensions, you must perform a one-time task to transfer dimension values for the shortcut dimensions.
